Following this years Mini Meets, the Top 16 male and female swimmers in 9, 10, 11 and 12 years age groups were invited to the Talent camp, this included many swimmers from clubs around the local area.

The morning started with an exhibition race by 8 of the top swimmers in the country who all train at Stockport Metro under Head Coach Sean Kelly.
Cassie Patten, Kerri-Ann Payne, Michael Rock, Simon Birch, Katy Whitfield, Joe Gannon, Russell Smith and Pat Hazelwood all assisted Metro coaches with a starts clinic before taking part in relays with all the swimmers as Team Captains.

Following the event we have received lots of positive feedback saying how much the children enjoyed and learnt from the camp.

"The whole talent camp event on Saturday was fantastic, Daniel came away enthused and motivated from the event, it was so good to see the “A Team” giving their time to help the younger swimmers (and I suspect they enjoyed showing off as well) . A huge thank you to you and all your team for what was a resounding success
