
The strength and conditioning programme is
a fundamental part of the strategy in Stockport. Athletes
benefit from a well designed land based programme integral to training
and competing successfully at a national and international level.

The
programme addresses the need for strength, endurance, power and
flexibility, and employs a variety of methods including weight
training, circuit training, running, cycling, medicine ball,
swim bench, and a comprehensive programme of specific core
strength drills under the direction of 2 full time coaches.
